Luciano honed his skills in the Buffo Baritone repertoire, including Mozart and Rossini. He has appeared at many of the main Italian theatres including Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, Teatro Comunale Firenze, Teatro Verdi Trieste, Teatro Massimo Palermo, Teatro di San Carlo, Teatro Comunale di Bologna, La Scala, Teatro Regio di Torino, Teatro Massimo Bellini Catania, Teatro A. Rendano di Cosenza, Teatro Sociale di Mantova, Teatro Comunale di Modena, Comune di Savona, Comune di Treviso and Comune di Rovigo.

He has performed around France at houses including Toulouse, Avignon, Opera Garnier, Lyon, Bordeaux, Rouen, Massy, Nice and Toulon. He has also appeared across Europe including at Gran Teatre Del Liceu, Glyndebourne, Wexford Festival Opera, Moscow Kremlin Theatre, Opéra de Lausanne, La Monnaie and Oper Graz.

DVD appearances include La Cenerentola and L'Elisir d'Amore for Opus Arte (Glyndebourne) and Il Matrimonio Segreto, Una Domanda di Matrimonio and Il Barbiere di Siviglia for the Project Opera Foundation Tercas. Luciano has also sung on a number of CD recordings including Il Barbiere di Siviglia for Dynamic, Lo Sposo Burlato and Il Marito Disperato for Bongiovanni, L'Eroismo Ridicolo for Arcadia and L. Perosi’s Requiem and Masterpieces of Sacred Music for Eurobottega, Assicurazioni Generali.

He has sung under the direction of important conductors such as: Z. Meta, B. Campanella, P. Maag, V. Jurowski, D. Renzetti, R. Alessandrini, O. Dantone, G. Gelmetti, W. Humburg, R. Abbado, G. Ferro, A. Zedda, M. Arena, D. Callegari, F. Carminati, M. Benini.

He studied with E. Battaglia and R. Resnik and went on to win a scholarship to the International Competition "Vinas" in Barcelona and won the International Competition "Toti Dal Monte" in Treviso.
