Graduated from York University (Music BA) and completed postgraduate studies as a repetiteur at the Guildhall School of Music, London. After working as a freelance - notably with the English Bach Festival - was then engaged as a repetiteur at the Wurzburg Opera, Germany and subsequently with the Lyon Opera. Joined ASI in 1995.
