Critics consider him to be the stand-out Spanish tenor with a meteoric career which in the past three years led him to perform in some of the most prestigious theatres in the world. Born in Abadiño, Vizcaya, he began his vocal training at the Durango Conservatory and later lived in Bilbao, Madrid, Marseille, Paris, Rome and the United States. He studied with Ana Begoña Hernandez and was supported by the Alfredo Kraus Musical Association (AMAK). He won awards in contests in Logroño, Ana Maria Iriarte, Bilbao, Manuel Ausensi, Marseille and Jaume Aragall Sabadell.
