With the College-Conservatory of Music at Cincinnati University, he has sung DANILO The Merry Widow, FATHER Hansel and Gretel and the FORESTER The Cunning Little Vixen. On the concert stage, he made his Schwabacher Recital debut with Warren Jones. As a frequent guest of the San Francisco Opera, Andrew made his debut as an Adler Fellow as MARULLO Rigoletto, and sang HUNTSMAN/GAMEKEEPER Rusalka, MARCHESE D’OBIGNY La traviata, and the world premiere of John Adams’ Girls of the Golden West.
Andrew won the Mary Jacobs Smith Singer of the Year Competition and won prizes at Opera Columbus Cooper-Bing International Vocal Competition, and the Giulio Gari Foundation Competition. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music and a Master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music, where he studied with Bill McGraw.
