News | Michael J. Scott, Andrew Nolen
"Andrew Nolen is a great Leporello who masters his catalog with a hint of mischief. A comedian through and through, he makes “la piccina” seem to be right there, in front of us. His round and sensual tone is enriched by a thousand nuances that are found in a beautiful extract from Macbeth (“Come dal ciel precipita”, Verdi, role of Banco)."
Tania Bracq
"The "brunt" of the music in this 40-minute piece is carried by the singer’s voice, which Andrew Nolen undertook brilliantly. Here the operatic experience of the graduate of the Juilliard Opera Center was clearly noteworthy. Not only in his ability to differentiate his voice, but also in his impressively strong stamina."
Frankenpost
"Andrew Nolen embodies this character fantastically, with profound simplicity in the voice and unbridled, yet divinely precise dance-like body language."
