He sang FATHER Hansel and Gretel English National Opera at Regents Park Open Air Theatre, GORYANCHIKOV The House of the Dead Welsh National Opera, and EISENSTEIN Die Fledermaus, and PAPAGENO The Magic Flute Northern Ireland Opera.
Concert work includes Szymanowski’s Stabat Mater National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra with Marin Alsop in Katowice and Brussels., Carmina Burana Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Elijah and Haydn’s Creation Ulster Orchestra, Beethoven’s Symphony No 9 Toscanini Festival, Parma, Candide and Schumann’s Das Paradies und die Peri Hamburg Symphoniker, and Die Tote Stadt National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland.
Ben features on a number of CD releases, including Maltworms & Milkmaids, a collection of orchestral songs by Peter Warlock with the BBC Concert Orchestra, a new recording of La Bohème from Irish National Opera, and a collection of newly discovered songs by Irish composer Ina Boyle.
