Davide Giusti’s current and future plans include RODOLFO La Bohème at the Bolshoi Opera in Moscow, Grand Opera Avignon and Theater Basel, DUCA Rigoletto in Northern Ireland Opera and DON OTTAVIO Don Giovanni in Bologna.

He made his operatic debut as FERRANDO in Così fan tutte at Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome. In 2012, he attended the Accademia Rossiniana in Pesaro under the guidance of Alberto Zedda and made his Pesaro debut as BELFIORE in Rossini’s Il Viaggio a Reims. Further debuts include NEMORINO in L’elisir d’amore at the Opera Royale de Wallonie (conducted by Bruno Campanella), L’AMANTE in Menotti’s Amelia al ballo at the Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto, L’Enfant Prodigue in Ancona and Cagliari, RINUCCIO Gianni Schicchi in Cagliari, Teatro Regio di Parma and Opera de Montpellier. He has performed ALFREDO GERMONT La Traviata for the As.Li.Co circuit in Italy and again in Lecce, Brindisi, Piacenza, Darmstadt, Liege, Charleroi and Avignon. He took part at the live recording in Rieti of Bellini’s I Capuleti e i Montecchi as TEBALDO for the label Glossa (Fabio Biondi conducting the Europa Galante orchestra), recently a revival took place in Warsaw and Bremen.

Davide sang RODOLFO in Puccini’s La Bohème at State Opera Perm, Konzerthaus Dortmund (c. Teodor Currentzis) and Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow (c. Evan Rogister) and also performed FENTON in Nicolai’s Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor in Liege; YOUNG KONRAD in Tutino’s Le Braci (c. Francesco Cilluffo) at the Festival Valle d’Itria in Martina Franca and in Maggio Musicale in Florence; DON OTTAVIO in Don Giovanni in Treviso and Ferrara; CASSIO in Verdi’s Otello in Macerata (c. R. Frizza); PINKERTON in Pucccini’s Madama Butterfly in Tel Aviv; DUCA DI MANTOVA in Verdi’s Rigoletto in Trieste, N.I. Opera Belfast, O.R.W. Liege and Charleroi (c. Giampaolo Bisanti); THE PRINCE in Respighi’s La bella dormente nel bosco in Cagliari (c. Donato Renzetti) and TEBALDO in I Capuleti e i Montecchi at the Theatre Nacional de São Carlos in Lisbon (c. G. Bisanti).

Widely active also in concert, his recent performances include: Haydn’s S. Cecilia Mass with the Orchestra Sinfonica Abruzzese and Mozart’s Requiem with Roma Sinfonietta at the Auditorium S. Cecilia in Rome and most recently in Cagliari; Rossini’s Stabat Mater in Sanremo (c. G. Gelmetti), in Milan La Verdi (c. Claus Peter Flor) and for ROF in Lima and Pesaro ; Great Mass in C Minor in Palermo and Genoa (c. H. Soudant; Petite Messe Solennelle in Saint-Étienne and San Marino (c. A. Zedda). He then performed the Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony at the Rosengarten Mannheim, Gasteig Munich and in Nuremberg. Most recently, he performed in Händel’s Messiah in Oviedo and Donizetti’s Requiem in Taranto and Rome under the baton of G. Gelmetti. During those years, he collaborated with such conductors as: Kent Nagano, Alberto Zedda, Bruno Campanella, Francesco Lanzillotta, Gianluigi Gelmetti, Fabio Biondi, Christian Zacharias, Teodor Currentzis, Giampaolo Bisanti and Donato Renzetti. His discography includes: Petite Messe Solennelle, G. Rossini (Brilliant Classic), 2014; I Capuleti e i Montecchi, V. Bellini (Glossa), F. Biondi e Europa Galante, 2015; Il Natale.

He was born in Civitanova Marche (Italy) and graduated with honors at the “G. B. Pergolesi” Music Conservatory in Fermo. He then specialized with, Renata Scotto, Raina Kabaivanska, Alberto Zedda and Ernesto Palacio. He successfully participated in prestigious international competitions, such as: Placido Domingo’s Operalia 2017 (2nd prize); “M. Caniglia” in Sulmona; “O. Ziino” in Rome; Santa Chiara City of Naples (1st Opera and 1st Oratorio prizes) ; he also won (2nd in Opera and 1st in Lied/Oratorio) Prizes at the “Renata Tebaldi” 2011 competition.
