Polish bariton Mikołaj Trąbka is currently a member of the ensemble of Oper Frankfurt, where roles include ANDREI Tri sestry, HARLEKIN Ariadne auf Naxos, MORALES and DANCAIRO Carmen, and EUMOLPUS Satyricon.

As a member of the Opernstudio of Oper Frankfurt he sang NICHOLAS Vanessa, JOHN SHEARS Paul Bunyan, CONTE CEPRANO and MARULLO Rigoletto and DONALD Billy Budd.

Guest appearances have included FIGARO Il Barbiere di Siviglia and PAPPACODA A Night in Venice Grand Theatre Łódź; PAPAGENO Die Zauberflöte, STACH in Stefani’s The Miracle, or Cracovians and Highlanders and STEUERMAN Tristan und Isolde Polish National Opera Teatr Wielki; KAROL POZNAŃSKI in the world premiere of Włodzimierz Korcz’s Łódź Story Łódź and Bydgoszcz; DON TABARANO in Hasse‘s La Contadina Schloss Rheinsberg and PAPAGENO Komische Oper Berlin tour in South Korea.

In concerts he appeared with Lublin Philharmonic, Festival Kilar+ in Gdańsk, National Opera Bucharest, Grand Theatre Łódź, Musical Theatre Gliwice, Sinfonia Varsovia and Warsaw Chamber Opera.

Mikołaj Trąbka studied at the Academy of Music in Łódź and with the Young Talents Development Programme of the Polish National Opera Teatr Wielki. He participated in master classes of Andrzej Dobber, Sergei Leiferkus, Matthias Rexroth, Edith Wiens and others. He won the Stella Maris International Vocal Competition and Glanzlichter der Oper in Rheinsberg and was awarded a special prizes at the Grand Prix de l’Opera in Bucharest, International Giulio Perotti Singing Competition in Ueckermünde and Belcanto Per Sempre in Włocławek.
