Myriam Farina is a dynamic conductor known for her versatility, innovative spirit, and attentive approach to music. She has led numerous prestigious orchestras and ensembles, showcasing her exceptional talent and dedication to the craft.

Recently, Farina conducted three captivating Christmas Concerts with the Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini, culminating in the season finale Arcipelago dei Suoni featuring works by Verdi, Rossini, Mendelssohn, Schubert, Beethoven, and Vivaldi. She conducted rehearsals for Silvia Colasanti’s Arianna, Fedra, Didone alongside the orchestra, choir, and actress Isabella Ferrari for the Toscanini-Velleia Festival. Her collaboration with the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Teatro Comunale of Bologna on Bernard Herrmann’s music and with the Virtuosi Italiani on Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater further showcased her diverse repertoire.

She has also conducted Stravinskij’s The Firebird, Mozart’s Haffner Symphony and Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto, among others, with esteemed orchestras like the Berlin Sinfonietta and the Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestra of Portland.

Farina’s passion for conducting led her to undertake intensive studies under Maestro Fabio Luisi, expanding her repertoire to encompass a wide range of symphonic and operatic works. She refined her skills through collaborations with renowned institutions such as the Teatro Alla Scala in Milan and the National Italian Symphony Orchestra Rai.

Farina’s commitment to artistic development is evident in her work as an assistant conductor at various opera houses, including Teatro Comunale Pavarotti-Freni in Modena and Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari. She also founded the MG_INC Orchestra, dedicated to promoting emerging talent and exploring innovative musical collaborations.

She studied at the Conservatory of Parma and Imola Academy, where she graduated under the guidance of Maestro Marco Boni. Specializing in chamber orchestra repertoire, she further honed her craft through courses in Milan and Berlin. She has previously delved into performing contemporary and new-media music, winning accolades such as the international Terem Crossover Competition in St. Petersburg.
