He performed concerts with Les Musicians de Louvre, Telemann Chamber Orchestra, Vancouver Early Music Festival, Ulster Orchestra, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Coro e Orquestra Gulbenkian, Dunedin Consort, Portland Baroque Orchestra and Lautten Compagney Berlin. Owen was a choral scholar at Lichfield Cathedral and studied at the Royal Academy of Music.
