Known for her absolute precision and fiery coloratura, soprano Rainelle Krause is a versatile and compelling singer. Current and future engagements include QUEEN OF THE NIGHT Die Zauberflöte at Deutsche Oper Berlin and North Carolina Opera, TANIA in Luigi Nono’s Al gran sole carico d’amore Theater Basel, PAT NIXON Nixon in China Princeton Festival and Mystique, a circus/opera collaboration with Opus Opera, New Orleans.

Rainelle was recently seen as MADAME HERZ Der Schauspieldirektor New Hampshire Music Festival and QUEEN OF THE NIGHT Die Zauberflöte San Antonio’s SOLI ensemble. Other performances include MONICA The Medium Painted Sky Opera, BLONDE Entführung aus dem Serail and BELINDA Dido and Aeneas Opera Piccola of San Antonio, LA FÉE Cendrillon Opera for the Young‘s touring production, and Galatea Acis y Galatea Opera Nova Costa Rica. Engagements for the 2017-2018 season included Zerlina cover Don Giovanni The Dallas Opera, guest soloist with Voices of Change for their Holocaust memorial performance, and featured artist for Opus Opera’s event, Mystique, a circus and opera collaboration. Performances for 2018-2019 include Vivaldi’s Gloria Texas Camerata, Ein Deutsches Reqiuem Norfolk, VA, La Traviata Irving Symphony Orchestra, Poulenc’s Gloria Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra, and PAT NIXON Nixon in China Princeton Festival. Concert credits include Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony and Carmina burana Plano Symphony.

Rainelle Krause trained as a young artist with the Sankt Goar International Music Festival and Academy in Germany, the OperaWorks Advanced Artist Program in Los Angeles, Opera Las Vegas, the Taos Opera Institute and Opera Nova Costa Rica. She holds a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music in her hometown of Bloomington, IN. She currently lives in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and trains on aerial silks.
