Rosetta Cucchi will make her debut at the Boston Lyric Opera directing La Bohème this October.
Rosetta’s production is set against the backdrop of the 1968 Paris student revolution, and is inspired by the films of the French new wave. The performances will take place on the 2nd, 4th, 7th, 9th and 11th October.

Current and future projects of Italian stage director Rosetta Cucchi include Salome and Don Giovanni Opera de Genova, La favorite Teatro La Fenice in Venice, L’elisir d’amore Teatro Comunale di Bologna¸ as well as Don Giovanni Lucca, Piacenza and Modena. Since 2006 she has been Artistic Director of Fondazione and Symphonic Orchestra Arturo Toscanini, Parma.
